G.fast
G.fast is a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) protocol standard for local loops of less than 500 m, with performance targets between the 150 Mbit / s and 1 Gbit / s, depending on the run length. High speeds are achieved only over short loops. Although G.fast was originally designed for loops shorter than 250 meters, Scipio in early 2015 nearly 500 meters and the European Union G.fast showed deliver speeds of over 100 megabits
